Role Overview

We are looking for a senior, hands-on leader to be the single accountable owner of our AI and grant-funded transformation programmes, from the first client conversation to successful project closure and grant claim. You will turn business problems into practical solutions and shape the funding approach. You will then lead delivery with ABeam consultants and partners, and keep the client, the delivery team and the funding agencies aligned throughout. You are the anchor of each engagement. You are credible in a technical design session with consultants, in an executive discussion with a client’s CEO or CFO, and in an exchange with a government agency about project deliverables and claims.

What You Will Own

1. Discover and shape (presales)

• Lead discovery workshops with executives and process owners to uncover business problems, quantify their cost and agree measurable outcomes.
• Convert those problems into solution options, a business case and an implementation roadmap that the client can approve.
• Present and demonstrate solutions, and prepare proposals, estimates, statements of work and RFP responses.
• Qualify opportunities and say no to the wrong ones.

2. Architect the solution

• Define the end-to-end architecture across enterprise applications (ERP, HR, procurement and finance), cloud platforms, integration, data and security.
• Identify practical AI and automation use cases. Choose the right pattern, whether workflow automation, a copilot or an AI agent, and design human oversight, access controls and audit trails.
• Make build, buy and partner decisions on technology and platforms, with clear trade-offs on cost, risk and scalability.
• Produce and own the key design artefacts: architecture, interface and integration designs, security and data-protection approach.

3. Secure the funding (grants)

• Match each opportunity to suitable Singapore government grants and incentives, and check client eligibility (for example SME status and local shareholding).
• Prepare the project scope, plan, budget, milestones, expected outcomes and supporting documents so the client can submit a strong, compliant application.
• Answer technical queries during agency evaluation and coordinate with the client and with agencies.
• Make sure the project follows grant rules throughout: no work or payment before submission, vendor and scope changes handled through the proper change process, and deliverables and evidence captured for the claim.

4. Lead delivery

• Be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks and changes against the approved solution and grant milestones.
• Lead and coach ABeam consultants, partners and client project teams. Set direction, review deliverables and resolve technical and functional issues.
• Run governance: steering committees, status reporting, risk and issue management, and change control.
• Oversee testing, deployment, user training, adoption and handover to support.

5. Prove value and close out

• Define baseline KPIs with the client, track benefits after go-live and report outcomes to executives.
• Assemble audit-ready evidence, progress and post-project reports, and grant claims on time.
• Run lessons-learned reviews and feed reusable assets back into ABeam, such as templates, estimation models and reference architectures.

6. Use AI responsibly in your own work

• Use generative AI tools to speed up research, proposal writing, design, documentation and delivery.
• Check every output, protect client and ABeam confidential information, and apply responsible-AI practice, including data privacy and Singapore’s AI governance guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have

• 10+ years in enterprise technology, with proven experience in solution architecture, presales and leading delivery on at least one full end-to-end implementation.
• Track record of owning a programme outcome across scope, budget, schedule and stakeholders. PMP, PgMP or equivalent is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise applications (SAP or comparable ERP, HR, procurement or finance platforms), integration, data management, cloud and security.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, AI assistants and workflow automation. You can explain where an agent is the right answer and where it is not.
• Strong consulting skills: structured problem-solving, discovery facilitation and business-case building, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable designs.
• Experience writing technical proposals, estimates and implementation plans that stand up to client and finance scrutiny.
• Working knowledge of government grant processes and funded-project requirements, including documentation, milestones, claims and audits.
• Excellent communication at every level, from a hands-on technical review to a CEO briefing.
• Understanding of PDPA, information security, responsible AI and validation of AI outputs.

Strongly preferred

• Experience with Singapore government schemes (such as Enterprise Singapore, IMDA and Workforce Singapore programmes) and working directly with agencies.
• Experience delivering public-sector or grant-funded projects, and supporting audits and claims.
• Experience integrating AI services and APIs into business applications.
• Relevant certifications in architecture, cloud, AI or SAP.
• Experience working with delivery partners and subcontractors under commercial and quality governance.
