As our Professional Service Project Engineer, you will join a team of specialised engineers to deploy, configure and support our indigenous and robustness cybersecurity products.

Job Description

1. The staff shall provide the following support (not limited to the following):

  • Conduct operational and support activities which includes case management, preliminary troubleshooting, investigation and onsite engineering support
  • Escalate incident to the necessary parties for further response or remediation.
  • Should provide continuous improvement to operational work flows and systems.
  • Support configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting servers and workstations in user environments.
  • Maintaining project documentations such as Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs), Helpdesk Case management notes and trouble‑shooting guides.
  • Support deployment of authority furnished software.
  • Manage and implement change request.
  • Provide administration and support services for all user furnished systems and software releases. Example system administration tasks include file access control, user administration and change management on authority environments.
  • Perform system health and operation checks. This includes: a) Monitor system services to ensure they are up and running. b) Monitor system utilisation to ensure there are sufficient resources. c) Escalate if the system service is down or not performing as expected.
  • Perform troubleshooting. This includes: a) Determining root cause of the system issue. b) Fault Escalation.
  • Maintain asset inventory and track IT equipment
  • Provide feedback on system performance and end user experience during project phases.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Assist in enforcing IT policies and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Assist in escorting OEM vendors to sites to resolve issues.
Requirements

At least 2 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry, preferably in one or more of, and not limiting to, the following areas:

  1. System Integration and Implementation.
  2. Maintenance, O&S and Engineering support of applications and IT infrastructures.
  3. Familiar with operating systems such as Windows and UNIX systems.
  4. Possess strong communication skills, analytical capability to resolve technical issues and deliver technical solutions. A resourceful, proactive and independent team player.
  5. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices, patch management and data protection.
  6. Customer-oriented mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
