Qualifications

• Good verbal communication for coordinating with dispatchers and clients

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Drive lorries safely over short or long distances while obeying all traffic laws
• Loading and Unloading: Supervise or physically handle the loading, securing, and unloading of cargo
• Route Planning: Choose fastest, safest, and most fuel-efficient routes
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and report issues
• Documentation: Maintain delivery logs, collect signatures, manage invoices, record mileage
• Customer Service: Interact with clients, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams
