About the Role

As a Production Technician, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion or injection molding machines in a cleanroom and GMP-certified environment. You’ll monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with quality and engineering teams to ensure consistent production output. This role combines hands-on technical work with process improvement to enhance efficiency and product reliability.

What you’ll be doing
  • Set up and operate extrusion or injection molding machines according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance to detect irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Adjust key parameters (speed, temperature, pressure, tension) to maintain product quality.
  • Load and mix raw materials (resins, additives, colorants) following standard procedures.
  • Perform quality checks using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and ensure compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to support process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What we’re looking for
  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in extrusion, molding, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with GMP and GDP principles is an advantage.
  • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and on shift rotation if required.
