Job summary

The Production Supervisor at Leica Microsystems in Singapore leads day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while aligning with DBS/Lean initiatives. Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Experience supervising production associates in a shopfloor environment.
• Experience using production performance metrics and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost objectives while ensuring compliance with company, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Plan and optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and production schedules to support operational efficiency, inventory control, and on-time customer delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates while driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, 5S, Safety, and Kaizen programs.
