Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to take charge of daily plant and production line operations. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, equipment reliability, and manpower coordination to achieve production targets with quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, capable of bridging people, processes, and machinery to drive consistent production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the factory floor and production lines.


• Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure machines are running smoothly, promptly addressing and resolving any issues.


• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.


• Coordinate manpower allocation and shift planning based on production demands.


• Collaborate closely with engineering/technical teams for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvement.


• Liaise with inventory, spare parts, and supply teams to ensure materials and components are available to support continuous production.


• Maintain production records, logs, and reports accurately and timely.


• Enforce workplace safety, 5S housekeeping, and compliance with operational procedures.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize rejects/waste.


• Supervise, train, and motivate operators, ensuring they are capable of performing assigned tasks effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent; technical certificates may be considered.


• 3–5 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.


• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.


• Ability to manage a team, coordinate work schedules, and maintain discipline.


• Strong communication skills for cross-department coordination (technical, warehouse, maintenance, etc.).


• Work at Height Supervisor / Forklift License is a plus point.


• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO, WSH) and basic computer skills (MS Office; ERP systems knowledge is a plus).

Job Details

• Job Location: 1 Lim Chu Kang Lane 9A, Singapore 718845


• Working Hours: 6 days per week — Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)


• Salary: SGD 4,000 base salary + Bonus


• Overtime allowance as per MOM regulations
