Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a supervisor to coordinate department activities and ensure productivity and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 'O' Level qualification and at least 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role. Training and coaching of staff will also be part of your responsibilities. This position requires a flexible work schedule including weekends.

Work Location: 6 Tampines Industrial Avenue 5 Singapore 528760
Work Day: 4 Days work, 3 days off. 3 Days work, 4 Days off. Need to work one weekend (either Saturday or Sunday).

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate department activities and projects to ensure quality and meet timelines
  • Recommend and coordinate required changes based on process analysis
  • Supervise staff in accordance to company policies and procedures
  • Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals
  • Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations
  • Conduct interview, hire new operators, and provide employee orientation
  • Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
  • Coach and provide career development advice to staff
Job Requirements
  • Min "O" Level with 5 years relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Good team player and interpersonal skills
