Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing in ERP.
- Improve production efficiency by reducing lead time, refining routing, and integrating sub-assemblies.
- Create and maintain clear work instructions, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing data before release.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams—Engineering, Production, Planning, QA, and Purchasing—on prototype builds and process improvements.
- Submit and track engineering change notices (ECNs) to ensure document and BOM accuracy.
- Set and maintain standard times, assist planners with scheduling, and validate earned hours.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, cost reduction, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and promote manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in an Engineering-related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing assembly industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP systems (Infor ERP preferred).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of electromechanical assembly processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in technical documentation.
