Job summary

A leading supply chain management firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual for a role focused on production planning and coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting demands, scheduling production orders, and ensuring material availability. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Supply Chain Management and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Mandarin is essential, along with strong communication skills. This position operates from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Responsibilities

• Forecast planning and production scheduling based on demand.
• Coordinate and prioritize work with project leaders and supervisors.
• Material and production planning, including BOM maintenance.
• Order confirmation based on material availability.
• Monitor material deliveries to avoid high stock inventory.
• Ensure timely closure of production orders for invoicing.

Job description

Working location: Tampines Industrial Avenue

Working days: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Forecast Planning
• Plan and schedule production orders in accordance with demand and available resources
• Coordinate with Project Leaders, Planners and Production Supervisors on work prioritization according to delivery schedule
• Responsible for material and production planning, requisition of materials and maintenance of BOM or design change implementation
• Responsible for order confirmation based on material and capability availability
• Plan, control and coordinate with purchasers on material deliveries to avoid building up of high stock inventory
• Monitor material availability for production continuity
• Periodically report: E&O, quarterly Buy-down claim
• Ensure timely closure of production orders for invoicing

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience / relevant industries
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• A team player with a bubbly, positive personality who enjoys building rapport with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
• Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Good analysis skill
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
