Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Singapore invites applications for a Production Operator on a 12-month contract. You will report to a Production supervisor and perform a range of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks on sub-assemblies, following blueprints and process sheets.

The role requires minimum secondary education, ability to work on a day/12-hour shift basis, and preferred SMT operator experience. The position is on-site in West Singapore with MRT access from Jurong East or Lakeside.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary education.
• Able to work on shift basis or normal shift.
• 1 year of operator experience in SMT environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
