The successful applicant will be responsible for performing setups, inspections, and maintenance, as well as documenting product information. Job description

Principal Accountabilities

Safety

• Perform work in accordance with safety requirements at all times.
• Ensure all safety-guards are in place before operating equipment.

Operational

• Operate equipment in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Perform setup and configuration of equipment to work-on film and paper product reels.
• Perform proper recording of product information before and after processing.
• Perform visual inspection of product to detect defects as identified by SOP and WIs.
• Perform re-work of product as instructed by Leadership.
• Perform proper hand-over take-over to/from shift co-workers.
• Perform proper sample taking/marking/recording of samples at specific interval per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Perform proper product packaging per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Print core labels/pallet labels and ensure proper labelling of reels as per Work Instructions (WIs).
• Perform equipment maintenance as per Work Instructions (WIs).
• Notify Leadership/QA Engineer if any additional defects found.
• Ensure General 5S housekeeping of work area / machine cleaning.
• Move and Feed production material per Work Instructions (WIs).

Others

• To help-out in other areas of production such as Finished Goods Packing and Retrieving of Materials from the Warehouse as and when needed.
• Other Ad hoc assignments.
