Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Singapore is a critical part of their global supply chain, and they are committed to the highest standards of quality and safety. They are currently expanding their team and looking for dedicated Production Technicians to join their mission.

Job Summary

As a Production Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for the hands-on assembly and manufacturing of life-saving medical devices. You will operate advanced production equipment and perform intricate assembly tasks within a controlled cleanroom environment. This role is critical to ensuring products are built with absolute precision and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly & Manufacturing: Perform complex hand assembly of medical device components according to detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process visual inspections and quality checks to ensure all components and finished products meet strict quality specifications.
  • Cleanroom Compliance: Adhere strictly to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and all cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning and hygiene procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all production documentation in real-time, including batch records, work orders, and quality logs, ensuring full traceability.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting and assist maintenance teams in resolving equipment stoppages to minimize production downtime.
  • Safety & 5S: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by following all safety guidelines and 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) principles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong commitment to quality and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for fine assembly work.
  • Ability to read, understand, and strictly follow SOPs and technical instructions.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule in a cleanroom environment.
