Job summary

A leading event production company in Singapore is seeking an experienced production manager to oversee the planning and delivery of events, activations, and installations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience managing live events, strong vendor negotiation skills, and a proactive mindset. This role requires exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production planning and delivery of events, activations, and installations.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, supplier schedules, and production documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors, venues, contractors, and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Conduct site visits, logistics planning, and complete all pre-event documentation (including risk assessments) ahead of each activation.
  • Maintain quality control across all production elements during fabrication, setup, and pack-down.
  • Track project expenses and ensure production remains within budget, escalating potential overruns to Production Lead/Head.
  • Support onsite delivery and act as production lead during live event periods.
  • Ensure H&S compliance across all event environments by acting as the Site Safety Supervisor.
  • Assist in implementing best practices and cost efficiencies across projects.
  • Working Shift (subject to change based on business needs):
  1. AM Shift: 7am to 5pm
  2. PM Shift: 1pm to 11pm
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality or relevant work experience. Diploma holders will be considered based on experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event production or a related industry with proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience managing end-to-end production for live events or activations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with vendors to control costs and improve value.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills onsite and offsite.
  • Solid knowledge of AV, staging, logistics, and site production requirements.
  • Understanding of permits, H&S regulations, and risk management procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams while taking full ownership of your production deliverables.
  • Strong communication and time management skills with commercial awareness of project goals.
  • Availability & Flexibility - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and cross-functional levels, working with creative, client services, and C-suite leaders.
  • Strong technical knowledge across AV systems, staging, rigging, and logistics.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical crews and executive stakeholders.
