Overview

Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for monitoring, directing and controlling all activities within the Production Department to successfully process product in an efficient and effective manner meeting or exceeding all company objectives, requirements, and policies. Responsible for warehouse operations in accordance to company objectives, requirements and policies.

Key Outputs
  1. Direct process and packaging department managers to successfully manufacture and process product in an efficient and effective manner meeting or exceeding company objectives, requirements and policies.
  2. Monitor and report indicators of department and personnel performance.
  3. Effectively enhance the Dispensing, Compounding, Dry Process and Packaging operations by initiating and directing activities that improve the quality, efficiency, cost and safety of the process.
  4. Communicate with other company departments, company operating locations, and external parties as required in a timely and effective manner.
  5. To lead in motivating and reinforcing expected Environmental protection, Health and Safety attitude and behavior in colleagues to provide a safe workplace.
  6. Be knowledgeable with applicable Company Quality Standards, procedures and guidelines. To ensure continuous compliance to GMP in designated areas of responsibilities and to immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
Key Experiences
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Food Science or Biotechnology.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or pharmaceutical industry.
