Job summary

DCONSTRUCT ROBOTICS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an AI & Robotics Systems Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, tackling hard systems problems across AI infrastructure, robotics software, and production-grade integration.

You will design and build core software systems powering AI and robotics products, develop production-grade AI workloads including LLM apps, RAG pipelines, and data workflows, and collaborate with AI/robotics teams to ship reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and systems design.
• Production experience with Golang and C++, building performance-sensitive systems.
• Experience building distributed or real-time production software.
• Experience with AI systems including LLMs, RAG pipelines, model inference, or vector search.
• Knowledge of integration protocols like gRPC, REST, MQTT, and streaming systems.
• Experience with containerized deployments (Docker) and modern deployment workflows.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-moving startup environments.
• Experience translating architecture decisions into shipping production code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core software systems powering AI and robotics products.
• Develop production-grade infrastructure for AI workloads, including LLM-powered apps, inference services, and data workflows.
• Build distributed services and real-time communication layers connecting AI, robotics, and edge/cloud infrastructure.
• Develop high-performance software components where latency and reliability matter.
• Integrate software across robotics, AI, and platform layers—covering communication, orchestration, and runtimes.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, robotics engineers, and product teams to turn requirements into production systems.
• Diagnose, optimize, and improve system performance across computer, networking, and runtime bottlenecks.
• Help shape architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction as we scale.
