Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an engineer to diagnose production issues and implement improvements. The role involves supporting maintenance, providing training, and coordinating with external suppliers. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues while driving continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager to ensure timely and effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and support maintenance of plant equipment to ensure operational reliability.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Provide training to operational teams on new systems, processes, and equipment.
  • Analyze recurring process deviations and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Identify, propose, and implement enhancements to improve plant performance.
  • Plan and monitor maintenance activities to ensure proper execution.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors as required.
  • Assist in post-maintenance equipment integrity checks.
  • Conduct routine plant safety and HSE inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

[Must]

  • At least a Diploma or Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience working in Manufacturing / Petrochemical / O&G with hands-on in basic mechanical / electrical / instrument troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of QMS ISO is preferred.
