Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to manage skid and off-site piping fabrication activities. Qualifications

Job description

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage skid and off-site piping fabrication activities within the factory workspace.
• Assist in QA/QC processes, including incoming material inspections, dimensional verification against fabrication drawings, welding MPI, torque checks during assembly and final inspection, and overall quality assurance prior to product dispatch.
• Collaborate closely with the project team, subcontractors, and the external client’s (RE) to ensure timely delivery of finished products to site in accordance with the project schedule.
• Develop and coordinate fabrication schedules to align with construction delivery timelines.
• Maintain safety standards, cleanliness, and organization within the factory to ensure optimal working conditions and maximize productivity.
• Raise PRF as per BOM and to ensure timely deliveries of materials.
• Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• For experienced candidates, preferably to possess minimum 3 years relevant experience in the Industrial Engineering industry.
• Open to candidates with no previous working experience for junior position.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with Clients, Consultants, project members and managers at all levels
