Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality of extrusion fabrication outputs and safety operations.
• Train employees on machine operation and safety.
• Inspect outputs for quality inconsistencies.
• Maintain workflow and processes.
• Coordinate maintenance procedures.
• Ensure production meets schedules and specifications.
• Monitor team procedures for production goals.
• Provide project guidance and hold team accountable for safety and quality.
• Conduct daily briefings with crew to review production goals.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality of extrusion fabrication outputs and safety of extrusion operations
• Trains and reinforces employees on machine operation, safety and company policies
• Inspect fabrication outputs to check for inconsistencies and deviations from established quality standards
• Maintains fabrication work flow, processes and machineries
• Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines
• Ensures that production is being accomplished as per production schedule and specifications
• Monitor team and work procedures to meet production schedules
• Provide direction of projects tasks and hold all team members accountable for safety, quality and production
• Conduct daily briefing with crew to review production goals and performance feedback

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production engineer in construction or manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of extrusion procedures, equipment and WSH guidelines
• Able to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings.
• Problem-solving abilities
• Able to use a variety of material handling and fabrication equipment.
