A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Production Specialist to plan and monitor production activities, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and skills in CNC machining and fabrication. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge in aircraft jigs & fixtures, mechanical assembly, and aircraft maintenance tooling.
• Able to work under pressure and self-motivated.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment, material, and manpower requirements to execute job orders
• Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion
• Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution
• Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations
  Work with Estimation, Purchasing and Production teams in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime
• Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role would be ideal
• Well verse in both manual and CNC machining
• Excellent knowledge in fabrication, aircraft jigs & fixtures, mechanical assembly, and aircraft maintenance tooling
• Knowledge of MRP systems is essential
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
