Position Overview

Contract (Convertible to Permanent); Location: Boon Lay; Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:45; Salary: up to $3,350, depending on experience & qualification; Contract term: 1 year, convertible to permanent based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute project tasks and schedule accordingly to meet customer orders
• Plan and manage inventory controls to avoid shortages and excesses
• Plan and manage equipment, material and man‑power requirements to execute job orders
• Take charge of receipt centre to inventoryise received goods to inventory
• Monitor and manage production progress, which includes managing subcontract workers performing production work, and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Perform delivery of orders to customer site
• Coordinate activities between different functional groups in the company to ensure adequate and timely delivery of products to customers
• Work closely with procurement to manage vendors and perform second sourcing of alternative vendors
• Utilise software or system tools such as relevant SAP modules to perform necessary administrative work in line with company process, and to improve planning and production efficiency
• Continuously identify areas of improvement in the planning process, review information to develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions
• Provide timely updates to the programme manager and the team
• Perform manual work required for shifting/lifting/repacking of goods in carton boxes, and able to use pallet‑jack for shifting of goods as necessary
• Ad‑hoc duties as necessary may be required
