Job Responsibilities:

Structured Finance Accountabilities
• Perform and ensure proper execution of transactions (including marketing and documentation such as information memorandum or legal documentation & execution, organizing roadshows, on-site due diligence, etc.) with accuracy and in a professional manner).
• Due diligence work including to assess credit worthiness of prospective borrowers, research on industry risk, prepare underwriting risk analysis and perform cashflow analysis.
• Maintain and develop contacts with banks who take part / participate in Singapore syndication market in order to facilitate CNCBI’s loan origination and loan distribution activities.
• Support for WBD Syndication Agency function and loan administration according to facility agreements / finance documents for syndicated loans, and other routine loan agency duties (including handling drawdown waiver / consent requests, novations, correspondences, etc.).
• Work closely with other departments including: marketing teams and risk partners for structured finance and syndicated loan transactions; Account and Loan Operations (ALO) team for loan draw down and other agency operations activities; Structured Finance WBG Headquarter team in Hong Kong.
• Support any ad-hoc project assigned by supervisor.

Operational Risk & AML/CTF Accountabilities
• Adhere to prevailing risk and compliance requirements, bank policies and procedures, and applicable local and regional regulations.
• Comply with anti-money laundering (AML), counter terrorist financing (CTF) policies and relevant procedures in accordance to regulatory standards and CNCBI internal policies.

Requirements:

1. Education Qualification
• Degree Holder in Business Administration or Banking & Finance (or related disciplines).

2. Working Experiences
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in a sizable bank or financial institution involving wholesale banking focusing on structured finance or syndicated loans would be advantageous.

3. Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / License
• N/A

4. Business Knowledge
• Understand the operating features, transactional mechanism and loan structuring of Structured Finance and Syndicated Loans business (not limited to distribution).
• Understand industry and market developments relating to corporate banking.
• Understand the Bank’s policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, standards and applicable local and regional regulations to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
