Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking an experienced FX Advisor to engage RMs and clients, supporting trading activities to generate FX revenue. The role involves product management and driving transformation projects within the FX space.

You will engage in advisory coverage, prepare publications, and participate in cross-team initiatives to optimize revenue, productivity, and customer experience while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar FX advisory role.
• Strong understanding of FX and derivatives including complex products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; other languages an added advantage.
• CFA qualification or equivalent an added plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory coverage to markets via daily publications, weekly meetings and campaigns.
• Responsible for team revenue target.
• Identify trading opportunities and generate ideas.
• Use data for business scalability and targeted advice.
• Conduct trainings on processes and products.
• Support product development and lifecycle for FX products to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in FX-related change projects/initiatives.
• In cross-team scenarios, provide timely execution and advisory for multi-assets beyond FX.

• The candidate is expected to be an FX advisor, with the key objective to engage RMs/clients and support trading activities to generate FX revenue. The candidate would also engage in product management activities and projects for FX product.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory coverage to markets via various channels including preparation of daily publications, weekly investment meetings and ad hoc campaigns
• Responsible for team revenue target
• Idea generation and identify trading opportunities
• Identifying business transformation opportunities and using data for business scalability and targeted advice
• Conduct trainings on processes and products
• Support product development and management activities covering the front-to-back lifecycle for FX products to ensure compliance to bank’s policies and regulations.
• Support in FX related change projects/initiatives

Back-up Function For Capital Market’s Multi-assets

• In event of cross-teams coverage required, to carry out timely execution and advisory for multi-assets outside primary function (where Capital Market covers FX, Equity Cash, Bonds and Derivatives)

Qualifications

• Candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Having a passion for business transformation and using data for sales engagement is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen, focused on enhancing customer experience while staying focused delivering significant improvements in revenue, productivity and efficiency
• Strong understanding of FX and Derivatives including complex product
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills and strong team-player.
• High professionalism and energy level, able to engage and build relationships with clients well.
• Self – driven, motivated and committed to service excellence.
• Spoken Languages: English & ability to speak other languages / dialects, an added advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• CFA qualification or equivalent an added plus
• Preferably holds FMRP, CACS 1 & 2, RES Papers
