The Product Sales Manager acts as the interface between the Jungheinrich factories and external suppliers to the frontline Sales by being product specialist in the area of Lithium-Ion batteries, Safety accessories, digital products like - Fleet management system, the APAC product line, the European product lines, US Product lines, different types of attachments and other.
The jobholder delivers through applying the 7Ps of marketing strategies, especially in terms of price, process and promotion. The jobholder combines technical knowledge with sales knowledge and therewith proactively consults internal and external customers. Promote and sell Series & System trucks in cooperation with account team to existing and potential clients.
Product Sales Management
- Develop, share and outline above product portfolio and knowledge as specialist.
- Work with the Global Product team & local sales unit to identify & offer the suitable truck for SG, MY POJs market.
- Support Sales team for application engineering for Series & System Trucks – Especially for the Customized solution, Special Build, attachment cases, Energy related topics, digital products & safety accessories.
- Development, implementation and control of strategic measures/adjustments for target achievement.
- Act as consultant to customer and sales team by join visits, Demo for above mentioned Products & accessories.
- Be an expert with respect to the competition like price, FFB, positioning, USP and counter competitive argumentation.
- Develop and consolidate sales tools like TCO/ROI, solution, product implementation and promotion materials.
- Detailed communication connecting product information flow HQ to factory to sales unit.
- Supply of relevant documents for defined marketing measures together with the sales & marketing management including product launch and communication strategies.
- Product-relevant complaints processing and communication with the responsible business fields, departments and plants.
- Contribute to overall activities and initiatives within the Product Sales Management department.
Orders, Product Failure & Market Analysis
- Working closely with Sales/Aftersales/Business Analyst to create report and analysis order intake, lost orders, and product failure (especially Chargers).
- Provide insights on average pricing, margins, street prices, competitor pricing, and share price data with factories and suppliers.
Training & Development
- Design & conduct the regular training program for sales & non-sales related roles for our subsidiary and sales unit of POJs.
- Design & conduct a regional training program (Miles) for APAC colleagues as a subject matter expert.
Skills and Qualifications
- Able to work with initiative, as a sole contributor while being good team player.
- Strong analytical ability, Proactive and solution oriented.
- Good at connecting the dots.
- Competent in MS Words/ Excel/ PowerPoint/teams App.
- Ability to cope with high level of stress, especially at the beginning.
- Must have a Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
- Experience in the area of sales and/or product management.
- Experience Material Handling industry is a good welcome.
