Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Product Development and Merchandising professional to drive end-to-end product life cycles, from concept through to launch, including supplier sourcing, costing and production scheduling.

You will analyze sales performance and inventory to optimize assortments across retail and e-commerce, curate consignments, negotiate with vendors, and work with operations, retail, and customer service to ensure timely launches and ongoing product

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development, merchandising, buying, sourcing or a related retail/e-commerce role.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing product development timelines.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team player, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from concept to launch, including research, sourcing, costing, specs and timelines.
• Analyse sales, margins and inventory to optimize assortments and stock across channels.
• Source and manage consignment brands and ensure commercial viability and brand alignment.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to meet cost and delivery targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Retail, E-Commerce, Creative and Customer Service to deliver successful launches and continuous improvement.

Product Development:

Support and manage the development of Company's products from concept to launch, including product research, supplier sourcing, sampling, costing, specifications, quality checks and production timelines

Product Merchandising:

Analyse sales, margins, sell-through and inventory performance to help determine the right product assortment, quantities, reorders, markdowns and discontinuations across retail and e-commerce

Consignment & Brand Curation:

Source, evaluate and manage consignment brands and products that complement Company’s assortment. Ensure each product is commercially viable, relevant to our customers and aligned with the Company brand

Supplier & Vendor Management:

Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and ensure product quality, costs and delivery timelines meet expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Operations, Retail, E-Commerce, Creative and Customer Service teams to ensure products are launched successfully, stocked appropriately and continuously improved based on customer feedback and business performance.

Job Requirements:
