Job summary

A leading electronics firm in Singapore is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to oversee the entire product lifecycle from launch to phase-out. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills. This role involves market analysis, strategy development, and coordination of product launches and promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product management in semiconductor or electronic components.
  • Strong technical understanding of ICs, power components, connectors, and PCB-level electrical systems.
  • Proven track record in product lifecycle management (PLM) and market-driven product strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from product introduction and launch to growth, maturity, and phase-out.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and threats across global and regional markets.
  • Define and communicate value propositions, product positioning, and key messaging for ICs, connectors, passives, and power components.
  • Drive and support go-to-market (GTM) strategy, working closely with sales, product management, and distributors.
  • Develop sales enablement tools including product presentations, technical datasheets, comparison guides, and whitepapers.
  • Coordinate and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and product training for internal teams and channel partners.
  • Monitor product performance (e.g., pricing, margin, market share), collect customer feedback, and recommend lifecycle actions.
  • Ensure alignment with R&D and operations to manage product updates, obsolescence, and inventory throughout the lifecycle.
  • Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product management in the semiconductor, electronic components, or related industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of ICs, power components, connectors, and PCB-level electrical systems.
  • Proven track record in product lifecycle management (PLM) and market-driven product strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technologies.
  • Data‑driven mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM, and PLM tools.
