Responsibilities
Product Development and Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Procurement and Export to develop new products, as well as manage existing product innovations that meet consumer needs and market demands.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer needs, trends and competitive insights, and utilize findings to inform product development and positioning.
- Manage end-to-end product development process from concept ideation to launch, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
Product Launch and Promotion:
- Lead product launch activities, including developing marketing plans, creating compelling messaging and positioning, and coordinating launch events and promotions.
- Work closely with Design and Sales team to develop sales collateral, presentations and training materials to support product launches and ongoing sales efforts.
Brand Management:
- Possess a deep understanding of the product portfolio, including product features, benefits and positioning in the market.
- Manage the branding and positioning of the products, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall brand strategy and messaging.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and foster brand loyalty among consumers.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze product performance, sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Responsible for monitoring and collating of competitive activities, analysis and interpretation of market information.
- Other duties assigned in relation to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product marketing roles within the FMCG food industry, with a track record in developing and managing products.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics and competitive landscape in the FMCG food industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
