Job Description

Product Manager CTRM - 6 months Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled product owner/manager for the Tax/Treasury and Finance Reporting module, with a background in resource mining or commodities trading.

This role requires an understanding of commodities trading and the capability to drive innovative business intelligence initiatives in the Tax/Treasury and Finance teams. The focus is on delivering solutions that adhere to industry standards and exceed business expectations. While experience with CTRM systems such as Aspect or Strategic Risk Platforms is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

The reporting application is on Databricks and Power BI and requires a high proficiency in SQL tools. This position requires a majority commitment to working on-site in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to meticulously collect and document business needs, ensuring precise alignment with organizational expectations. Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases.
• Technical Collaboration: Serve as a pivotal link between business and technical teams to analyze and visualize data. Utilize a thorough understanding of technology to aid teams in resolving intricate issues by leveraging domain expertise.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BRD (Business Requirements Document), FSD (Functional Specification Document), user guides, and knowledge transfer materials to support seamless implementation and enhance user adoption.
• Data Management: Engage in data analysis and research to fully understand and document data elements, structures, standards, and usage. Collaborate with functional and business data owners to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Agile Practices: Actively participate in agile software development processes to ensure efficient project delivery. Preferred proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA to optimize project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of physical and financial trading products, preferably in Metals.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and a strong understanding of technical architecture and frameworks.
• Strong experience with Power BI and Excel cubes for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience in reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence projects.
• Strong proficiency in productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in front/middle/back-office business processes in commodities trading.
• Agile software development proficiency.
• Experience with CTRM system(s)
