Job Summary
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the development and prominence of the Massey Ferguson brand. This multifaceted position encompasses the creation and implementation of comprehensive product roadmaps, meticulous management of the product lifecycle, and thorough analysis of competitive product information to ensure market relevance and superiority.
In this role, the Product Manager will oversee the New Product Introduction process, which includes conducting detailed business case analyses and selecting specifications that are optimally suited for the ESEA region. This involves a strategic approach to ensure that new products meet regional demands and preferences.
Furthermore, the Product Manager will be responsible for providing extensive product support and conducting sales training sessions for distributors and internal staff. These efforts are aimed at enhancing product knowledge and facilitating the achievement of ambitious sales and market share targets. The Product Manager will also play a key role in supporting logistics and the setup of exhibition stands at major regional marketing events such as Agrictechnica, as well as regional agricultural trade events.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the development of the Massey Ferguson brand by developing and executing strategic product roadmaps and marketing initiatives.
- Provide extensive product support and conduct sales training sessions for distributors and internal staff to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Manage and continuously update competitive product information to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand market needs and gather supplier information, facilitating effective communication with source factories to drive product development.
- Coordinate communication between distributors and technical teams to ensure compliance with product homologation requirements.
- Oversee the New Product Introduction process, ensuring the commercial viability and application suitability of products within the ESEA region.
- Maximize the efficiency and accuracy of internal processing systems for relevant product ranges.

Key Performance Indicators
- Development of Roadmaps: Create and manage comprehensive roadmaps for the current product range and identify future product opportunities.
- Product Newsletter and Communication: Develop and distribute newsletters and communications to dealers and distributors, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
- Unique Selling Points and Competitor Analysis: Maintain up-to-date information on unique selling points and conduct thorough comparisons of competitor specifications.
- Product Training: Conduct clear and effective product training sessions within the region, ensuring information is conveyed accurately and comprehensively.
- New Product Introduction: Ensure the New Product Introduction process is carried out in accordance with defined NPI procedures, guaranteeing the successful launch of new products.
- System Accuracy and Updates: Ensure all systems are accurate and up-to-date with the latest product specifications and pricing information.
- Dealer Network Interface: Ensure the dealer network interface is user-friendly and facilitates easy business transactions.
- Compliance and Procedures: Carry out all duties in accordance with federal and state laws, and align with company policies and procedures whenever applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive technical knowledge of agricultural machinery
- Extensive knowledge of agricultural industry segments and practice
- Ability to combine the above knowledge to gain a tactical advantage
- Ability to anticipate regional market trends and act accordingly to ever changing business/market environments and extensive knowledge of dealer distribution operations
- Fluency in French to effectively liaise with factory teams on specifications and technical requirements; proficiency in an additional East or Southeast Asian language will be considered an advantage.
