Product Manager (Construction Digitalisation)
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap and investment priorities for PX products and CDE capabilities.
- Work with project delivery, estate management, development, operations and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve information flow across the asset lifecycle.
- Drive the digitalisation of design management, construction management, document control, collaboration, handover and operational readiness processes.
- Establish product strategies that improve information quality, governance, traceability and accessibility across project and operational environments.
- Prioritise enhancements across document management, workflows, integrations, BIM coordination, digital submissions and reporting capabilities.
- Translate user needs and business outcomes into a prioritised product backlog, making trade-offs across value, risk, cost, dependencies and delivery constraints.
- Define adoption metrics, product success measures and value-realisation outcomes, and use evidence to guide product decisions.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, operations teams and technology partners to align digital delivery objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable and aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Manage product dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations while enabling incremental delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, information management, construction digitalisation, project delivery, asset management or a related role.
- Practical experience defining or improving CDE processes, information workflows, governance models or digital delivery practices in the built environment.
- Strong understanding of how project and asset information is created, reviewed, approved, exchanged, handed over and maintained across lifecycle stages.
- Ability to document complex processes using process flows, swimlane diagrams, information flow maps, data models or equivalent techniques.
- Experience translating business and operational needs into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and implementable workflow specifications.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align business users, project teams, consultants, contractors and technical specialists.
- Good understanding of information governance, metadata, data ownership, quality controls, auditability and traceability.
- Experience supporting product backlogs and iterative delivery in agile or product-oriented environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain information management concepts and delivery trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working across business, construction, operations, information management and technology domains in a complex stakeholder environment.
