Job summary

HMI Medical Centre is seeking a Product Management Intern to assist our product team in developing and improving digital products, including AI-enabled initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to launch, analytics and post-launch improvements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Business teams, conduct UAT, track issues, prepare product documents, perform market research, and support AI feature

Job description

We are looking for a Product Management Intern to support our product team in the development and continuous improvement of digital products, including AI-enabled initiatives.

This role is suitable for someone who is interested in product management and would like to gain hands‑on experience across the product development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and testing to launch, analytics and post-launch improvements.

• Support Product Manager in gathering, documenting and refining product requirements, user stories and user flows
• Assist in preparing product documents, presentations and other project materials
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document issues and follow up with relevant teams on fixes
• Track product issues, enhancement requests and project progress
• Support product launches, including rollout preparation, validation and post-launch monitoring
• Collect and consolidate feedback from users and internal stakeholders
• Assist in product data analysis, performance tracking and preparation of basic reports or dashboards
• Conduct market, competitor and user research where required
• Support AI-related product initiatives, including testing AI features, reviewing outputs, identifying issues and gathering user feedback
• Use AI tools to improve day-to-day product work, such as research, documentation, analysis, ideation and productivity
• Work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Business and other stakeholders on product-related initiatives
• Support the Product team on other day-to-day product and project activities

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Design or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Structured, organized and detail-oriented
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
• Genuine interest in technology, digital products and product management
• Comfortable and proficient in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or similar tools for research, analysis, documentation and problem-solving
• Curious about AI and willing to experiment with new tools and workflows

Good to Have

• Previous internship, school project or experience related to Product Management, Business Analysis, UX/UI or Technology
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or Figma
• Basic SQL knowledge or experience working with data is a plus
• Basic understanding of APIs and software development concepts

Internship Commitment

• Minimum 3 full working days per week
• Preferably able to commit for 4-6 months
