Job summary

Avanade Singapore is seeking a Product Management Senior Consultant to own quality product management in complex environments, guiding backlog, priorities, and stakeholder alignment.

You will drive backlog refinement, business value conversations, and collaborate on project planning and estimation, mentoring teams and delivering value across streams.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Product Backlog management (incl. making all the decisions on the priorities with a direction from the client stakeholders and/or coaching and assisting the client, led by business value).
• Performing conversations on business value and the backlog with the client stakeholders.
• Supporting project planning and estimation.
• Leading requirement refinement activities.

Qualifications

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

• Identifying risks, limitations, and potential project improvements.
• Understanding general technical issues; understanding project technology specific issues.
• Running team activities - estimation, backlog refinement.
• Managing the product backlog - creating, refining, and splitting user stories, understanding items' relationship, prioritising under the stakeholders' guidance.
• Operating ADO, JIRA, or another system fluently.
• Implementing best practices and industry standards in the project.
• Leading a stream of work.
• Making decisions and recommendations affecting the entire project or a stream of work.
• Demonstrating willingness to coaching and mentorship.
• Initiating and guiding conversations with client stakeholders.
• Communicating and justifying the vision and its reasoning.
• Understanding impact to the Product from influences outside the project or the stream of work (Industry, legislation, etc.).

Preferred Education Background

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred - Computer Science, Engineering, Management, Business, Information Technology)
