Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for engineering studies during the product introduction. Responsibilities include managing engineering documents and project management during production. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in engineering and relevant experience in wire harnessing. Good communication skills and proficiency in relevant software are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in wire harnessing.
• Hands-on experience in sample build and mass production is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an Engineering study during the New Product Introduction phase.
• Create and maintain records of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Project Management during NPI phase, including FA sample preparation.

Job description

Principal Accountabilities

1. Conduct an Engineering study/review during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.

2. Create and maintain the record of engineering drawings, BOMs, component specifications, and technical information.

3. Project Management during the NPI phase, which involves FA sample preparation and report.

4. Coordinate with Production sites for Mass Production.

5. Conduct continuous improvement in processes and training for operators/tech.

6. Other ad-hoc tasks as per assigned.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in an Engineering discipline.

Experience

• Preferably, 2 years of relevant working experience in the wire harnessing industry.
• Hands-on experience in sample build and mass production will be an advantage.
• Computer literate with hands-on experience in Excel and Drawing software (AutoCAD or Zuken E3 or HarnWare software knowledge will be an advantage).
