JMS SINGAPORE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an engineer to plan and coordinate product design, development, and engineering changes to support new product introduction and continuous improvement. You will conduct testing, verification, and validation to ensure performance aligns with specs.

The role requires strong data analysis, report writing, and excellent communication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Formación

• Requires degree in Biomedical Science/Life Science/Material Science or Engineering.
• Experience with medical devices design and development is preferred.
• Competent in data analysis and report writing.

Responsabilidades

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute product design, development, and engineering change activities to support new product introduction and continuous product improvement.
• Conduct product testing, design verification, and validation activities to ensure products meet established specifications and performance requirements.
• Develop test protocols, analyse test results, prepare technical reports, and provide appropriate actions.
• Coordinate and liaise with external testing laboratories, suppliers, and other relevant parties to facilitate product testing, evaluation, and technical assessments.
• Support design control and risk management activities, including design reviews, risk assessments, and the preparation and maintenance of relevant technical documentation.
• Ensure product development and engineering activities comply with applicable medical device standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management system procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and external stakeholders, to support product realization and improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and engineering tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct literature reviews and technical research to evaluate scientific publications, industry state-of-the-arts, and relevant standards to support product development and engineering decisions.
• Undertake other engineering and product development-related assignments as required.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Biomedical Science/ Life Science/ Material Science or Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing).
• Experience in design and development of medical devices is preferred.
• Competent in using data analysis tools.
• Experience in report writing.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
