Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Product Development engineer to validate new product features and optimize testing methodologies for next-generation microprocessors. The ideal candidate will possess a background in electrical or computer engineering and experience with scripting languages and operating systems. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Validate new product features and test methodologies during first silicon bring-up.
• Optimize test patterns for mass production enablement.
• Analyze part failures for test improvement.
• Develop, debug, and characterize test patterns and flows.

Skills

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script

Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS

ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines

Job description

THE ROLE:

As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

THE PERSON:

A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up
• Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
• Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement
• Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script
• Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS
• ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines
