Avetics Global is a drone solutions company based in Singapore and Malaysia serving Southeast-Asia. We provide end-to-end drone services with a key focus in the industrial space using our customised drones.

We take on our own R&D projects to come up with solutions that uniquely solves problems by combining mechanical, systems, robotics, and software expertise.

We are now looking for a talented Product Design Engineer to join our young and creative team.

Job Scope

Design & Development: Create mechanical components and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and perform structural, thermal, and CFD simulation

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with engineering and project teams to ensure effective integration of components and alignment with project goals

Prototyping: Rapidly prototype using 3D printing, CNC machining, and various fabrication methods

Testing & Validation: Conduct mechanical, flight, and environmental tests to verify design performance and reliability

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues encountered during testing or production

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of designs, test results, and standard operating procedures

Project Leadership: Lead projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources

Client Interaction: Interface with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful delivery

Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the latest in drone tech, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation

Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Support the team with additional tasks and duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Mechatronics or Advance & Digital manufacturing background is preferred

Enjoys product design and working in the cross-section of additive manufacturing and drone technologies.

Design for additive manufacturing knowledge

Possess Cad skills (Solidworks, Autocad)

Interested in drone, UAV related technology and additive manufacturing.

Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Meticulous and Responsible.

Independent go-getter but understands the importance of working in a team.
