Job summary

ING is seeking an experienced Product Controller in Singapore to join the Finance team. You will ensure accurate daily P&L reporting, balance sheet substantiation, and valuation controls, partnering with Front Office, Market Risk, Operations, and IT.

You’ll contribute to system implementations, process improvements, and regulatory projects while supporting regional consolidation and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional experience in Product Control, Valuation Control, Market Risk, or related finance function within banking.
• Understanding of Treasury, FX, and derivatives products.
• Strong knowledge of P&L production, valuation and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily P&L production, validation, and timely delivery.
• Explain P&L movements and market-driven impacts to stakeholders.
• Review trade activity, pricing, valuation, cash flow, and positions.
• Identify and resolve P&L, trade, and position discrepancies.
• Support regional Product Control consolidation activities.
• Perform month-end reconciliations, price verification, reserves, and journal entries.
• Prepare materials for Local Parameter Committees on valuation and P&L.
• Support quarterly fair value hierarchy reporting.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Market Risk, Operations, Finance and IT.
• Contribute to system rollouts and process improvement projects.
