Job summary

AsiaOne is seeking a Video Producer to join our Video team in Singapore. You will lead all aspects of video production, collaborating with producers, videographers and editors across AsiaOne.

We value familiarity with digital and pop culture, ability to execute within budget, and strong communication skills to build a network of contacts in a fast-paced digital environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of video production experience preferred, fresh grads welcome.
• Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
• Proficient with editing software including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• Diploma or degree in Filmmaking, Communications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce videos that are compelling, bold and quirky.
• Develop and pitch video concepts regularly.
• Manage shoots from pre-production to post-production.
• Ensure videos align with AsiaOne brand standards.

The Role

• We are seeking a Video Producer for our Video team, who is highly passionate about creating content that speaks to youths and young adults.
• You are well-versed in the digital and pop culture landscape with extensive knowledge of digital video and social media platforms.
• You bring strong and fresh ideas to the table and can execute them in a timely manner and within budget.
• You will be responsible for all areas of video production and you are comfortable leading a team through all stages of production. You will work collaboratively with other producers, videographers and editors, as well as other teams across AsiaOne.
• You are someone who keeps up with the latest news and trends, and are required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to build a network of contacts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce compelling, unique, bold and quirky videos.
• Develop and pitch videos regularly.
• Manage all aspects of shoots including pre-production, production and post-production.
• Be data-driven and be sensitive to audience behaviour and interests in tailoring content to complement AsiaOne as a whole.
• Produce multi-media multi-platform content packages.
• Ensure all videos align with AsiaOne’s brand standards, guidelines and style.

Requirements

• 1-3 years work experience in video production is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
• Proficient with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop).
• Resourceful, creative, able to work independently or as an integral part of a team.

• Social-media savvy and plugged into the latest local and regional news cycle.
• Possess experience in script writing or animation will be advantageous.
