Procurement Specialist FY26 BCP Initiative

Join NSL Group as a Procurement Specialist, supporting our strategic FY26 Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiative. In this full-time position based in the Central Region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resilience and agility of our supply chains. Leveraging your procurement expertise, you will contribute to the development and implementation of robust business continuity plans, safeguarding our operations and serving our valued customers.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage the procurement of critical supplies and services required for our BCP implementation
  • Analyse supply chain risks and vulnerabilities, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers, securing reliable sources of supply and competitive pricing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate procurement activities with business continuity planning
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on procurement activities related to the BCP initiative
  • Contribute to the development of procurement policies and procedures to support BCP objectives
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management and supplier relationship management
  • Familiarity with business continuity planning and risk management principles
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex supply chain challenges
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, using relevant tools and software
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain management, procurement or a related field
