A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to develop and implement procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing setting. You'll be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. A strong analytical background and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and SAP are essential.
Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs.
Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
Managing supplier relationships and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
Monitoring inventory levels and tracking order status to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Analyzing procurement data and generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
At least 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment as a Buyer, Sourcing Specialist, or Procurement Specialist.
Proven experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in computer skills – Microsoft Office, SAP.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
