Job Overview

As the Procurement Specialist in Singapore, he/she will manage the sourcing and purchasing activities for the plant engineering construction.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Singapore project team to provide procurement sourcing and purchasing support for the construction phase.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to project requirements and local building & construction regulations.
  • Manage engineering contracts, work with internal and external teams regarding the timely pricing and agreement of variations, effective handling of contract charges, and early settlement of disputes / claims.
  • Manage valuation of works done by vendors and arrange for payments.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures for all procurement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and above, Major in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Quantity Surveying or related
  • Minimum 5 years of work experiences as Engineering Procurement or Quantity Surveyor for construction related projects.
  • Good English and Chinese skills in reading, writing and speaking to liaise with internal and external stakeholders from different regions.
  • Responsible, positive work attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
