Job summary

A food production company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will source ingredients and manage supplier relations while ensuring compliance with documentation standards. Strong negotiation skills, experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, and proficiency in Microsoft Navision are essential. Only Singaporeans/SPR will be considered. This role does not offer work pass sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Navision.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong in Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other supplies for production.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in ERP.
• Track and follow up on order confirmations, shipments, and expected delivery timelines.
• Maintain an updated database of approved suppliers.
• Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels.
• Generate reports on purchase trends and supplier performance.
