Position Overview

Permanent employment. Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm. Location: Ang Mo Kio. Salary: up to $5000 depending on work experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently interface with project team members on procurement to review purchase requirements and engineering specifications.
• Source and identify reliable supply sources for materials and services with required quality and quantity delivered on time.
• Conduct RFI, RFP, RFQ and tender activities in accordance with Procurement Governance & Regulations.
• Carry out price analysis and negotiate purchases/contracts with vendors/suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing.
• Adjudicate awards and make recommendations to management for approval.
• Process PO and Change Orders and track deliveries.
• Liaise with stakeholders on received materials/services and close POs.
• Provide regular feedback on material/service status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position.
• Possess a tertiary degree or diploma.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes and systems.
• SAP working experience is a plus but not required.
• High alertness with strong ability to work under pressure unsupervised.
• Good team player, person with integrity, maturity and self‑motivation.
• Preferably with experience in project procurement, especially from the rail industry.
