Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a procurement specialist to join their team at Changi Airport. You will provide expert support for procurement transactions, and engage with stakeholders to enhance the procurement-to-payment process. The role requires a degree in Accountancy or Business with at least 3 years of procurement experience. Knowledge in compliance and governance is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. You will enjoy a dynamic environment and have opportunities to improve processes using low-code tools.

  • Contract Duration: 3 Years Contract
  • Location: Changi Airport
Job Descriptions
  • You will be part of the procurement team supporting divisions on their procurement transactions, providing expert advice and ensuring proper application of procurement policies and processes.
  • Supporting business stakeholders in the procurement-to-payment process.
  • Execute the tendering and contracting functions such as preparing and publishing tender documents, onboarding vendors to the eProcurement system, preparing contract documents, creating Purchase Orders, and following up on outstanding invoices.
  • Track the performance of the procurement service level and present it to Management on a regular basis.
  • Identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions to achieve procurement excellence.
  • Improving or streamlining existing processes or automating the process using low-code tools such as Power Automate.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement role, with some experience in compliance and governance role. Experience in supervisory role will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the procurement function and some accounting knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence business stakeholders.
  • Meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in systems such as Sesami, SAP, electronic procurement system, etc.
  • Able to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in using low-code tools such as Power Automate, Power App, and building of BI dashboards, etc. will be an advantage.
