NES Fircroft is recruiting for a Procurement Quality Engineer to join our team within a contract role to support a major offshore project. This project is located in the middle east so prior experience within the region is essential.
The Procurement Quality Engineer shall lead supplier quality initiatives to ensure purchased materials, components, and services meet project standards, regulatory requirements, and performance goals. Drive continuous improvement in the supply base through rigorous quality systems, supplier development, and risk management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate tasks assigned to Vendor Coordinators and TPC Coordinators;
- Review prequalification documents (e.g., MAR, PDR, PQD) for all procurement packages;
- Standardize quality requirements in MR/TBE templates; conduct dual reviews for critical procurement packages;
- Lead TPC weekly meetings; attend Procurement Quality Meetings and external procurement-related meetings;
- Develop and implement Procurement Inspection Co-ordination Procedure.
- Supplier Pre-Qualification Documents Review
- Involve quality audit to Vendors/Manufactures.
- Involve in Kick-off meeting
- Participate in Pre-inspection Meeting
- Liaise with Third Party Certification and Client to ensure their appropriate involvement.
- Vendor Document Review including MPS ITP and WPS and relevant Quality Procedure
- Review flash report/ in-process report/close-out report of Third Party Inspectors
Role Requirements:
- BSc. degree in Engineering in related discipline with experience with similar EPIC Oil & Gas project procurement experience.
- Shall have minimum of twenty (20) years of QA/QC relevant experience (e.g. in oil & gas and petrochemical projects) in the respective functional area;
- Shall have a minimum of two (2) years management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of a quality management system in accordance with applicable international standard with the capability of developing and implementing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans;
- Registered Lead Auditor with IRCA
- Welding Inspection CSWIP 3.1 Qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience of projets in Middle East region
