Position Overview

The Procurement Manager for CAPEX Equipment leads sourcing and procurement of high-value process and mechanical equipment for a major pharmaceutical greenfield project. This role partners closely with the Procurement Director and cross-functional teams to develop strategic procurement plans aligned with project timelines. It conducts supplier evaluation, manages complex contract negotiations, and ensures full compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. The position also oversees procurement workflows in SAP and Coupa while managing vendor performance and risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement of major CAPEX and process equipment.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans with the Procurement Director.
  • Conduct supplier qualification, evaluation, and selection processes.
  • Manage high-value negotiations and contract execution.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, PO issuance, and reporting in SAP/Coupa.
  • Monitor supplier performance, risks, and contractual compliance.
  • Resolve procurement issues, disputes, and commercial challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, EHS, and corporate governance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years CAPEX procurement experience in pharma or regulated industries.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Coupa, and corporate procurement processes.
  • Experience with large-scale project supply chain environments.
