A prominent service management firm in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will manage sourcing, negotiate contracts, and develop procurement strategies for outsourced services. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Facilities Management, extensive experience in procurement, and strong analytical skills. This role offers opportunities for impactful negotiations and strategic procurement leadership.
As a Procurement Manager, you will be managing the sourcing, negotiation, and management of service providers for outsourced services. You will also support the client or department in developing and executing sourcing and procurement strategies.
1) Conduct a comprehensive review of tender documents to fully understand the scope of work, contractual obligations, key performance indicators, required OEMs and specialists, pricing structure, and quality submission requirements.
2) Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
3) Tender bid quotations from OEMs/Specialists/Vendors:-
Solicit & obtain the required quotations.
Ensure vendor’s quoted pricing is as per the specified scope of works in the tender document.
Ensure any exclusion clause / caveat stated in the quotation has been reviewed.
Keep proper documentation of all final quotations received
4) Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, specialists, and vendors to ensure reliability and innovation in service delivery
5) Collaborate across internal teams to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and support seamless execution of post-award activities.
6) Maintain an updated vendor repository with trade expertise, certifications, and performance history.
7) Prepare compelling technical and commercial write-ups, ensuring alignment with client requirements and corporate standards.
8) Coordinate internally to share vendor details and quotations and provide support for any subsequent negotiations or related activities as required.
9) Any other related work scope that may be assigned.
1) Degree (Preferably in Facilities Management) with minimum 2 years of related working experience / Diploma.
2) Minimum 4 years of related working experience.
3) Meticulous, strong in financial numbers and proficient in MS Excel.
4) Possess good interpersonal skills and is a team player.
5) In-depth knowledge of Facilities Management procurement practices, OEMs, and vendor accreditation processes
