The Role

As a Procurement Manager you are an integral part of our team, supporting our Procurement Lead to acquire goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively in the Property and FM categories for 7 Eleven in Singapore and Guardian in Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore. This role is critical; it helps our Banners to open and renovate stores and ensure they are running optimally so that our customers have a great shopping experience.

For this role, you will be responsible for supporting the full procurement lifecycle, from strategy development to supplier relationship management.

Strategic Procurement
  • Develop and implement effective tactical and strategic procurement strategies, including the development of category plans, aligned with organisational goals, focusing on cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and value maximisation.
  • Provide excellent business partnering support to the property teams.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market conditions, review and assess spend patterns and forecast price trends.
  • Work within procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
  • Develop and implement RFQs, RFXs, eAuctions, etc., for procurements, managing the evaluation and negotiation processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement efficiency and effectiveness, and track deliverables.
  • Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to foster long‑term partnerships.
  • Manage supplier performance, addressing issues promptly, and conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
  • Manage delivery against procurement targets and track performance against team goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across different departments to understand procurement needs and demonstrate effective engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in procurement to drive innovation and process improvement.
About You
  • 5+ years procurement experience with a desire to continue career growth.
  • Experience working in teams and able to follow end‑to‑end procurement processes, including contract management and negotiation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to be a good problem solver with excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Pro‑active, self‑motivated, well‑organized, efficient, and able to work under pressure.
  • Achievement and goal‑oriented with good organisation skills, ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with excellent MS Office skills.
  • Good to have: CIPS member.
  • Experience working in construction or FM, in a procurement team and/or in retail and multi‑market preferred.
  • Experience working regionally covering multiple markets.
