Description

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement (Warehouse Automation) Intern to support warehouse improvement projects by helping to streamline processes, automate reports, and improve inventory management. The role involves analyzing materials data, supporting audit and documentation activities, and identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Support Warehouse Management and Improvement Projects
  • Manage warehouse improvement projects.
  • Understand the importance of track and trace technologies and applications such as Barcode and RFID. Brainstorm solutions to expand/enhance current RFID system to improve overall inventory management.
  • Define new and/or streamline current warehouse operational processes.
  • Digitalize manual processes in store operations, for example but not limited to: Receiving of materials, location tracking, material withdrawal & stock-take.
  • Identify and propose new technology, tools and methods to reduce manual work, improve ergonomics and productivity.
• Report Automation
  • Identify areas for improvement in reports used daily to improve productivity.
• Governance
  • Identify work processes and develop work instruction documents to standardize process steps and achieve compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Support preparation work to compile data and process evidence required for audit activities.
• Materials Planning
  • Develop dashboard/report and utilize data for analysis on materials usage trends, withdrawal patterns and inventory controls.
  • Conduct delivery requests to maintain safety stock levels.

Required Experience And Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Familiar with Power Bi dashboard and Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel VBA, Power Query, Power Automate).
• Comfortable to talk to vendors independently and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Desired Experience And Skills

• Familiar with advanced Excel tools such as Pivot Table.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management or materials planning.
