Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers for machine components, materials, and services.
• Manage the full purchasing cycle including issuing POs, requesting quotations, and verifying deliveries and invoices.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings, favourable payment terms, and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and project teams to meet project timelines and cost objectives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and cost tracking for audit and compliance.
• Monitor inventory turnaround time and manage procurement for project cost control.
• Handle supplier relationships, resolve quality issues, and arrange technical training when needed.
• Support smooth operations by collaborating with Accounts, Store, and Project teams.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing equipment parts for manufacturing or automated machinery; exposure to semiconductor equipment is highly preferred.
• Experience in marine industry or furniture parts procurement is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers.
