The Procurement Executive is responsible for supporting the procurement function by sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food and non-food items for the Central Kitchen, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely supply. This role works closely with suppliers, production, and quality assurance teams to maintain product standards and optimize procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of food and non-food items as per company requirements.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Production and QA teams to ensure all products meet quality specifications and compliance requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to manage stock availability and reduce excess or obsolete items.
- Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures; maintain accurate procurement records.
- Participate in vendor performance reviews and support supplier evaluation processes.
- Conduct cost analysis, assist in benchmarking, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, highlighting operational, service, and process gaps.
- Stay updated on market trends, supplier practices, and industry developments.
- Perform ad-hoc procurement or operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in relevant fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and high integrity.
- Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to think proactively.
- Committed to quality, including food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
